renewal of PRC license

    my license will expire this june 2008, can I renew it before june? what are the procedures how to renew it in PRC? thank you! :wink2:

    Yes, you can renew ahead of the deadline so that you don't need to pay extra for a fast-track processing. Just prepare a recent Passport-sized Photo and money. Their is already a how-to-do list for renewing near the "information center" in the middle of the bldg. near the stairs going up the 2nd floor. Cost is roughly the same when you first registered. You don't need to surrender your current license.

    In PRC Iloilo, they only accept pictures coming from their official photographer(who is using an analog, traditional film camera), that is with the PRC logo. Quite a nuisance if you're not from Iloilo as it's really time-consuming(2-3 hrs waiting time).:angryfire

    How I wish the PRC would consider online renewal in the future(asap)...

    anyone, another follow-up question regarding license renewal, do we have to earn a certain number of continuing education units as part of the requirement? also, does anyone know the requirements/procedures for IV license renewal???

    my prc license will also expire next year. some newly grads have informed that there would be a 60 unit requirement for seminars to be completed upon renewing license. is this really true? cause the last i renewed my license, there was never a requirement like those...hope someone coulda nswer this question for me. thank you.

    my friend told me that you need 2 passport size picture with name tag, old license and P450.

    Just got off from PRC for renewal. Milkshake_rn yes you can actually mine will be expired on june also.

    You will need:
    - to fill up renewal form (green color, half coupon bond size)
    - at least 2pcs photo passport sized, white background w/ name tag
    - Current PRC license photocopy
    - Renewal fees P450.00
    - ballpen
    - paste/glue

    Procedure:
    - filled out PRC form attached your photo on the right upper corner
    - proceed to window 14 for assessment
    - payment at window 15
    - window 16 for passing your phocopied PRC, form, receipt, add'l photo (1), after a while you will be given a claim slip.

    April 17 - filled
    May 30 - released............ took 6weeks

    thanxs for the info! do i need the photo with prc logo or any pic would do as long as it has name tag? thank you!

    It doesnt matter as long as it has name tag and white background also make it sure that the photo is newly taken.
