    i was planning to apply for NCLEX this month,but since i read the post regarding CABON will not accept applicants without SSN,I'm confused now.Can i still apply without an SSN?or What if i apply on other states,do i need to have an SSN before i can apply?Is there other state that do not need this kind of requirement?

    Try Vermont but you need to have CGFNS-CES report first.

    According to the policy, any applications which do not have an SSN will be rejected and returned to the applicant or agency.

    As for other states, you'd either need to check the requirements of each state BON or use a professional NCLEX application center.

    I need to clarify this... what about the foreign nurse applicants? can someone tell me what to do because my mind clouded already... I am reviewing right now and I can't focus because of this.

    Have you already got a ongoing application with CA?

    actually... i just sent my application last march 29... and then when I browsed the CABON... I saw the new / updated requirement... i don't know...

    The new rule is for foreign nurse applicants who does not have Social Security Number (SSN). If you are in doubt and have a lot of questions then I suggest that you call CA BON so that you will get a first hand information.

    hi..i had my eligibility last dec 2009..i am planning to take my exam this august..if i may just clarify this one, if ever i will fail the said exam..i need to present a current SSN to be able to retake the exam?

    Hi all,

    I just read the news in CABON on their website, that's why i wonder is it a new regulation or not, so I check it here, and i know it's true.
    i'm just wondering about those who already get their att but haven't take the nclex exam yet? are they affected with this regulation als0?
    and also for my case, where i have an ongoing application since last year, but i still need to submit some docs, am i affected with this regulation?

    I would be grateful if anyone can give me any information regarding this

    If your application was received by California before the April 26th enforcement decision then you will be handled according to the previous methods.
