Accredited Dialysis Training Centers in the Philippines

World Philippines

Published

Hi,.!

This is something about the dialysis trainings offered here in the Philippines. I just wanna ask if there are ANY OTHER canters accredited by the RENAP aside from the following:

B Braun and Avitum Phils.,

Philippine Heart Center

Philippine Kidney Dialysis Foundation

National Kidney Institute

Asian Renal Center

It seems that upon reading some of the threads in this forum, these are the only 'viable' training centers offering such course as Hemodialysis. B Braun is fully booked until July2011 and they already have a waiting list for the next batches(in demand talaga..??:D) It would also be helpful if you can mention something about the fees?

Thank you so much.. Replies would be much appreciated..

NephroGroup will open the next training this coming July 25.

Hello! I know this thread hasn't been updated for so long, but I hope there will be someone who will answer my question :) Fellow nurses what is the difference between taking the training in a non RENAP accredited institution? Can I be able to take the certification exam if I took my training on a non accredited training center?. There is no available RENAP accredited dialysis training center on our province so this makes me wonder about that. Hope there will be someone who will answer my question. :) Thank you very much!

Hi, I recently joined this page to search about info's about maximum UF rate/hr of dialysis, anyway i was browsing and discovered this thread. So my Dialysis Training started when i applied in Fresenius Medical Care Philippines last nov 2009, luckily i was hired as a trainee and get we got paid while we were training, we never paid for a single centavo about training fees. It was because the company is in need of nurses to be deployed in different parts of the country. The training program is Fresenius Institute of Dialysis Nursing. Compensation is good, and they even provided health card. Unfortunately, we were the last batch. But the good news is they are still accepting trainees for 13-15k for the basic and 15k for the advance. Pricey yes, but the training you will receive is very very good. They also prioritize the nurses that have gone the basic training if they needed nurses. I will suggest that you inquire in our main office in pasong tamo, makati, (beside alphaland mall). Their training program is globally competitive and the company is rapidly expanding. i am still under the company so if you have any questions, just ask :)

Hi there. I just want to know if i can apply as a nurse assistant in your company? Or do you accept volunteer nurses up until now even if i came from other hemo training. Mine will end by next week and i'm already looking for other hemodialysis centers around the metro.

the company is not accepting volunteer nurses, because the company is not a fan of volunterism. Sadly they are not accepting trainees anymore because they have a pool of nurses left from the previous batch of nurses. The good thing is, that pool is not that deep anymore because some of our colleagues ventured different paths, others went abroad for greener pasture, while others are in the call center industry where they get paid really good. If you still want to pursue your dialysis nursing experience and career, i suggest you go for the basic and advance training they offer which i think is by far the best hemodialysis training you will receive. I ask my junior staff how much did she paid for the training and she said that it is 15k for the basic and 15k for the advance. And FYI she is now a regular employee assigned here in capas, tarlac :D

New studies recommend maximum UF rate of not more than 13mL / kg body weight.

hi

It would be better that you have to undergo training in a accredited training center. You can check the training centers accredited by RENAP @ renaponline.org

Is it really feasible to become a hemodialysis nurse here in the Philippines? Would you really get a job and get paid?

Yes of course.

Like most of overseas based Pinoy nurses, I also started with being trained then eventually got hired.
