Pediatric Nursing Textbook

Good evening! I am wanting to see what textbooks that you use for pediatric nursing class. I teach in a BSN program and we have a good book, but I would like to look at what others are using and maybe there is something out there that is better. Right now our book is both OB and peds. I would love to be able to get a book that is available to the students either as a hard copy or as an ebook. We have many students that drive 1+ hours each way to come to class and they would love to have something to listen to on their way to class or home.
    Thank you for your suggestions!

We used Maternal Child Nursing Care 4th ed. by Perry,Lowdermilk,Wong & Hockenberry. I wasn't a fan of this text..they had audio summaries on evolve.elsevier.com but they weren't very helpful. The book has an accompanying study guide but I didn't purchase it.

We have used Wong for years, but are switching to Bell and Binder, Child Health Nursing (Pearson). Students have reviewed this book and felt it was more clear and direct. It is easier to assign reading if you teach by systems.

By all means go on the publisher's websites and request a (free) Desk Copy. Tell them the course you teach, the fact that you are considering a change and that you want to evaluate their book.
