Hi,

I am just finishing my first semester of nursing school and already have a B.S. in Biology. Is this enough education to apply for a Master's program somewhere or should I have a BSN? Thanks~Dan

The Masters program I'm starting required a BSN, but I'm getting an MSN in Nursing Education. Maybe for other MSNs like leadership perhaps not. If you know which school your interested in you might check with them, or check a few schools at random that you might consider.

Good luck!

Sound advice....Thank you Tweety.

Entirely dependent upon the requirements of each of the programs that you are interested in. Some require it, some don't. If it were me, I would look for a program that did not require it, to save time and money going back to school to play catch up. There are more and more programs that accommodate students that have degrees in other areas. Look for one of these. Good luck.
