Hi y'all,

Is it bad that I not so secretly want to dye my hair purple and get a lip piercing?😂

It is not BAD that you want to do this. Just might not be a good idea. Looks to me like you may be in nursing school. I know that many schools have standards for hair and piercings. At mine, we were to have natural color hair and piercings other than the ears had to be removed for clinicals. So basically, find out what the guidelines are for school.

Apparently, my hair has to be a natural color too and no visible facial piercings.

Well there you go - If you like your job you have no choice but to comply. You could try a temporary Wash out color and non piercing nose clip when you go out.

It isn't bad to want to. It isn't even bad to do so. However, note that it is not bad, either, for your employer to deny you further employment if you violate the dress code in this way. You just have to decide if you want to keep your job more than you want purple hair and a lip piercing. There is no bad answer. You are an adult. You choose your own appearance based on your preferences. Your employer chooses the appearance of those who represent them based on theirs.
