this is the worst of the 5 bills. It needed to get out of committee so the reconciliation process can start.....

It needs:

True Public Option

Employer mandate

No tax on average health care plans....

Thanks for this thread. I am very interested in this bill, but afraid even the most anemic bill will not pass now because the war will cost more billions.

If this bill is so good for America, why did it get no republican support, and not even all of the democrats support? Why did it have to resort to passing only the Senate version when the house hated it? Why did they have to use reconciliation to fix it? Why does the majority of America oppose it? The federal government mandating that I buy something and then penalizing me or fining me if I dont sounds like something that Russia would come up with. If America wants Socialism, and Marxism, just say so, lets see whose ideas win. No one would go for it out in the open. Marxism is communism whose main idea is,"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need ". Sounds eerily like our current tax system doesnt it?
