Verification of License from Saudi Arabia

Hi everyone! I am currently waiting for my CES (Credentials Evaluation Service) report from CGFNS so I can go ahead and apply for licensure here in Tx. CGFNS already received all the requirements except this VOL (Verification of License) from Saudi Arabia. Last March 29,2015, when I called SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) I was informed that they no longer process the VOL due to the large number of organizations outside KSA requesting them to fill up this forms. And that the Certificate of Good Standing which they currently issue via their website is valid and enough to verify the license. They also emailed me the announcement letter that says so. I called CGFNS the next day and informed them about it, I was told they are not aware of this matter and that they're going to investigate and see why SCFHS had stopped this process. So I waited, after a week I called them again and they responded that they are already aware of this problem and that they have people working on this matter and communicating with SCFHS. Until now they still tell me the same.

I stressed out the Certificate of Good Standing which CGFNS said they accept but it has to come directly from SCFHS. The problem now is when I called SCFHS, I was told that it is an automated process and that I have to register in their website, provide a valid email where they can send the certificate after payment. And that it is their only way to provide me the certificate as they don't and never send this certificates via a post mail. Now Im getting really sad about all this and don't know what to do next. Is anyone here in the same dilemma I'm in? I need help... :cry:

It was only yesterday that i found out the Saudi council has stopped filling up the VOL forms for CGFNS .The customer care personal I talked to was really rude and would not listen to my problem . I would also need the announcement that Edz86 sent you guys to provide to the CGFNS professional . Could you please mail it to me too on my email address [email protected] ......the procedure was as it is very complicated , and now they've added this new twist to it ... feeling hopeless :(

Hello anju! Read your comment and might as well send the announcement to you myself. I know how you feel, been there! Anyway, I also did send that announcement already to CGFNS but they did nothing about it. They said they are already aware of this problem and that they are finding a solution to it but until now nothing! They still keep on telling me that they need the VOL to complete my CES report. Got the announcement yesterday , another kind member here sent it to me . I called up CGFNS , they told me the same thing , that scfhs now can send the letter of good standing by mail with their stamp and seal and that will be accepted . Got my certificate in pdf format already , need to get it done by requesting some friend ... hoping for the best . Good luck to you too . By the way did you send the certificate to scfhs by mail , or you sent it to them delivered by hand ? , wondering what will be more acceptable to them

I've sent it by post mail directly to SCFHS thru Fedex. My friends in Saudi are not in Riyadh anymore and are far from SCFHS so that's my only option. Keep the tracking number, that's what you'll provide them once you call and follow up on the request you have sent them. :) I sent mine last April 27, it was delivered May 3 to SCFHS. Been calling them since then and yesterday they told me to call again on Monday and that hopefully they can give me already a tracking number that they have sent it already to CGFNS. :)

Now I am just waiting for the final report to be released to BON and while waiting i decided to start with the nclex rn review. Hope everything goes well this time. by the way, did they already send back the VOL for your CGFNS? I did the same thing,am in the middle of completing my NNAS verification form. Now, the only problem i have is my VOL in saudi arabia. I already send my goodstanding, receipt of 150SAR, copy of license to their office in riyadh, and was delivered last May 31,2015. Ive been calling them for an update, but until now they dont give me a positive feedback.They always say that it is still in the process, but its been 3 weeks now. I am also having a hard time contacting them.

I just phoned a while ago, the customer service told me that they send my papers to ALkhobar yesterday (the city where I work before ) and that i will call them again after a week for an update. I am in the middle of asking them why they send it to khobar but they already hang up the phone. I am just hoping that everything will be okay and that they will send back my papers to NNAS, because that is all ive been waiting for to complete all the forms for NNAS. MAy God help me and everyone else.

hi, anyone here who has a copy of the announcement by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) regarding registration verification? Kindly send it to m email please: [email protected], as I need it for my NMC registration. I cannot find it in the SCFHS website. I tried to email the SCFHS, but didn't receive any reply from them. Hi chiklet..all you have to do is get a good standing certificate from scfhs website,print it then you have to mail it to the saudi council in riyadh(just check it in their website as well) together with a 15o sr receipt(please read edz86posts)copy of ur id and license.Please dont forget to make a request and indicate the contact details of the institution where u want them to send the said GSC.
