Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!

Thank you very much for sharing your experience! I hope you don't mind, but what documents did you need to resubmit?

Yes! It's hello summer there and I wish you all the best!

The barcoded one: Reference form 1

My referee did not put any end date because i am currently working under hi supervision. Instead he put "up to present" but the NMC did not accept it. So i just put the date when he signed the form. It took weeks for me to be put on queue because i failed to hit the submit button on the online application in my portal. It was a simple but a grave mistake. That was the most frustrating of all.

I'm so happy to know that you finally got your DL after a very long wait! Now it's just a little wait before you can process your visa. As for me, I've been on the queue for 15 days. Good luck to all of us!

Application is every 5th of the month and is released every 12th of the month. It's standard for everyone so we should be getting new this week regarding the CoS'. :)

Have you got yours already? :)

Just sharing... I'm glad you guys are here and we can share this experience together. If there's anyone also with GHR please let me know. :)

No. Still waiting on an update. I don't want to keep asking my agency and start to annoy them. I trust they'll me know whe in it's there. What about you?

Hello everyone. I have been following this thread from the date I met the 7.0 requirement of IELTS/UKVI Academic Module. I created my NMC account January 4, 2017, and on the same date I created my Pearson VUE account. I received the Authorisation To Test (ATT) on the same date too (2 attempts in a span of 6 months).

So yes, I took my CBT (NMC ToC Part 1) today with Pearson and just received an e-mail from NMC to check my result. STATUS - F A I L . I felt so devastated. I am actually quite sad right now as I am typing this comment. I reviewed for more than TWO months. Read all The Code, Standards for Medications, Competencies, Blueprint, and the latest edition of The Royal Marsden Hospital Manual for Clinical Nursing Procedures. I answered the MCQs available too and did a practice test with Pearson. I am going to book my test in the next few months before my ATT expires and I do hope I pass the test on my second attempt. Boy, GBP 130 is quite hefty. Make that twice, and all the other costs I have incurred in preparing for my IELTS and this one. I am sorry for ranting here. I just feel so bad right now.

May I ask if the "ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS" were marked during your test proper? In the practice test they were actually marked, but not on the real deal. Though, based on all the comments here, most of the essential questions are about UK Laws and safe practices. It's just sad that I won't be able to determine my raw score, where I made the errors, and how were they REALLY scored.

By the way, congratulations to all aspiring UKRNs who passed the CBT, or already have DLs, or already passed the OSCE and on their way to getting that golden NMC PIN. You guys inspire me. Thanks for reading. take care y'all.

July: IELTS

Sept: Accepted at KCH

Oct10: CBT

Nov 18: Sent docs to NMC

Dec 16: Got feedback for resubmission

Jan: Resubmitted needed Forms

Feb 8: Queue date

March 13: DL

I know my timeline wasn't that impressive. Had many delays and got frustrated a couple of times with the nmc application process. But finally the wait is over and it's hello Summer in UK!

Congratulations enna...finally, you got your dl after the daunting, long waiting game.

I am so happy for you...

Hopefully, you'll receive your cos in no time...

Thank you! The wait was long and frustrating but worth it. GOd bless

thanks for the response indai, i hope everything will continuously go well for you,

I've asked my 2 references from Saudi Arabia, and they told me that NMC did not call them or have not communicated with them.

keep your spirit high, you will make it. :) let your experience be your strength and inspiration to be better. never lose that hope. :)

i dont remember any marked questions during the test.

I'm still waiting as well. I also don't want to annoy my agency about it though I feel that its a neverending waiting game since the assessment stage lol.

anyway all the best for us! :)

hey its okay to feel bad but don't let that demotivate you from reaching your UK dream. You're not the only one who didn't get it the first try but all of them passed on their 2nd attempt so be positive. YOU CAN MAKE IT!! God bless.. :)
