Hey y'all. I'm planning to apply for examination in New Mexico state. Does anyone know how to TOEFL scores from ETS to New Mexico BON? I tried looking for it (under score reports destination) but I really couldn't find it. Thank you!!!

Hi..... are you an international graduate? Coz I applied in New Mexico also but they did not require me to take any of those english language test. All they need is a proof of certificate stating that the language of instruction used in the Nursing program is english. And there you go, they grant my att. :)

Hey! Thanks for replying. Yes, I am an international graduate. I took TOEFL last year because I initially planned in applying in Louisiana and they require an English proficiency exam. From what country are you? Thanks again!

As long as all you guys plan to work and practice in whatever state grants you the ATT and pass the NCLEX-RN in that particular state, that's all fine and great.

BUT if you're planning to endorse (transfer) that particular state's RN license into any other state (that does require passing of English examinations or course evaluations) in which you were trying to avoid by not having to take certain exams, such as the English proficiency or evaluations, guess what?

The endorsement state (if it's one that you didn't want to go thru the trouble of paying AND passing certain English requirements) you're going to still have to do so before your endorsement application will be approved.

Plus any other requirements as a first time applicant, as you must meet that endorsement state's criteria, along with additional non-refundable application fees, even if you're denied.

Yes, thank you. I understand that. NM does not require an English proficiency exam if the country where you studied offers the course in English. I took TOEFL and I passed it so I guess that will be useful in the future. Thanks!
