To yourprincess,I heard from my agent that i have an interview tomorrow.I got this interview immediately after a week i submitted my application. Thanks for your answers. Have a nice day!!

Anybody kind enough to help me out? :) Thinking of applying for UniSA. Talked to a rep from the university during their exhibit and he told me that no AHPRA would be needed even after completing the course. Is this true? I thought one would need to register with AHPRA to become an RN in Australia? soo confused....

With UNISA's case, you can do the BP with them as long as you have at least 2 years experience. You deal with AHPRA after your BP. By the way, where are you from aubreyR?

Oh okay. I've got 2 years hosp. experience so I guess I can apply with UNISA. I'm from the Phil btw :) Are you also taking the ARNTP with UNISA?
AHPRA is the governing body and unless you register with them once met requirements you can not work as a nurse in Australia
Thanks for that! I'm now starting to understand the process. Do you think that it would be wise to apply with AHPRA prior to embarking on a bridging program (even if the program does not require AHPRA?)
Hi Anay1,what made you say not to take IHNA accommodation aside from it is expensive? It was wriiten in their package that it is inclusive already of the accommodation during clinicals.Unless you have someone in Aussie to arrange personally where you have to stay, isn't it a reasonable offer already?I'm worried how to arrange accommodation especially when you are a stranger to a place with tight budget and have to stay temporarily in such a short period.Obviously,it is cheaper to look on your own but I could'nt imagine the risk and inconvenience it would cause. As of now, I'm trying to figure out and weigh things which among them is more advantageous.
Yup! The accomodation fee is inclusive of the accomodation during clinicals. But even if you didnt take the school accommodation your clinical educator will help you find a place to stay during your clinicals. Some of the hospitals where my batchmates attended their clinicals even offered for a free accommodation or minimum fare(10AUD/week). Indeed! Getting their accomodation is hassle free. But, if you wanna save heaps money I suggest you arrange your own accommodation, imagine you can get your own accommodation for 150/week compared to IHNA's 250/week. Australian people are great, they'll help and very understanding with emmigrants. This is just my 2 cents, you still have to weight the pros and cons. BTW! What place are you attending your BP and when?
