I just got my approval from AHPRA and I'm rooting for Burwood in NSW for my BP. Can anyone share their experience in applying for CON-NSW?

I got an email from them days ago telling me they couldn't assure me of any slots as they are receiving an overwhelming number of applications. The mail doesn't even say how to appluy, she just gave me the qualifications and that was it.

Does anyone here know if CON is still accepting apps for january intake?and if not, when's the next intake? thanks!
Sad news for those gunning to do their BP at CON. I'm currently undergoing my BP at CON, and I was talking with the coordinators last week and they said that they really have a high backlog of applications possibly till the end of next year. As of the moment they have more than 300 applicants already but they would be increasing the number of intakes to 6 next year.

Wow, Congrats... How bout your LOE is it still valid by the time the June 2013 intake will end?
That's the thing. My AHPRA letter will be expiring August of 2013. By the time I get done with my BP, my LOE would've already expired. That's why I was given a conditional offer. I have to get an updated AHPRA letter that would still be valid beyond September 6, 2013. I'm still waiting for another school. If I don't get in it, i'd prolly consider LTU's offer and ask my AHPRA case officer for an extension.

Hi guys! Do you have any idea what are the questions they will be asking in the interview? IHNA scheduled my interview two days from now.. really need some tips
It depends on the category/ies. I had my interview on the website instead by answering 15-20 questions from different categories and i must say it was easier rather than a phone interview.

i have a question regarding on vaccination.
does a varicella vaccine and 2 doses of MMR vaccine still needed for the immunisation.
even though you already had chicken pox and had a shot of mmr when you were young.
    thank you.

To beauexActually, that's one gray area for me that you just made clear. Thanks so much. I was thinking of applying for apra while doing the program. Dealing with aphra after the program is even better....

If you have a record of your vaccines then that's fine. If not, you are required to have yourself vaccinated or undergo serology which is pretty expensive

I think we only need few documents to be sent to ahpra after the program along with the ARNTP certificate. I still have to know what are those other docs so that I can prepare also while I'm here in the Philippines.

To beauexSame here. By the way, did you have to send physical docs to UniSA via courier or was the online application attachment enough?
