an immigrant,non license holder from Philippines but wants to take NCLEX in Nevada.

i graduated in april of 2009. i took july 2010 philippines local board exams but didnt pass. now im migrating to u.s, nevada and im planning to take the nevada boards-nclex. i only have my credentials to bring as requirement in application for the nclex. will i be entertained to take the nclex and ielts without a philippines license?

as per nevada state board site, one requirement is the PRC license. Although i know someone who didnt have her license but was allowed to take the nclex and is now an RN in vegas.

any input pls?

The person who did probably got it before the new licensing requirements went into effect in January, 2013. NV BON now requires a copy of the foreign applicant's country nursing license.

If you do submit your requirements without the copy, you can also lose any application fees as well, it's not refundable.

But just so you know, NV has recently more so started to enforce the concurrency regulations, which they have been written since 1952.
