How long is NMC UK application?

Hey guys! I'm a Filipino Nurse and I've been applying in NMC for my application in the UK so I could proceed with ONP. I'm done with my pack 1 and just called the NMC about it, they mentioned that they have sent my pack 2. However, it's been almost a month that I still don't have the mail. Do u know how long will it take to arrive in the Phils? How long have u had to wait before you received your decision letter?

I would just like to ask one requirement in the NMC pack 2, which is the police clearance. Do they require the one we get from NBI? Should it be less than 3months old?

I would appreciate any response. I am still waiting for my second pack.

BTW, I am also from the Philippines, and still waiting for interview this September.

Hi arya! I sent both the police and nbi clearances..yes, less than 3 mos. old.

Good day I just received my nmc pack 2 and I am confused on who will need to send the different documents required? such as those from the school and the PRC, will I send all the documents in my pack 2? or some documents should be sent by the school and the Prc? please help!

I come from a non EU country i.e India. I am planning to write my ielts in the month of July. As I am really curious to apply to Nmc UK, I would like the know the types of documents Nmc pack consist of. It would be a great help. I am looking forward to apply soon but before that I want to understand what are actual papers we are required to fill and send?

Hi Everyone, I just have a question regarding unregistered practice from Philippines. Does anyone know how to do this or anyone who knows if there is an attachment needed prior sending it back to the NMC? Thank you.

Hi me too has to do this unregistred practice form...

PRC has requirenents: 1. Forms that was sent by from NMC. 2 notarized cert of employment from hosp w/

designation, status of service/ employement, duration of service/employment, if staff nurse/volunteer/nurse, job description, if trainee or training program 3. Sunbit to PRC for legal verification.

According to my sister, PRC is going to submit it to PRC central office for the board of nursing to review, once they have done their check and happy witb it, that's the time PRC will sign and stamp the forms. But to my surprise when PRC was asked about the time frame of the process they said some takes years,sounds very appaling.Hopefully not.

Hi Shomie911, do you have this form /pattern of the letter to be issued by the hospital? I have been told that there is a form given by PRC and obviously just to change the details. When my sister asked PRC in the Philippines, they said that they do not have it. Have you, by any chance have the copy?

NMC form is supposed to be sent by NMC by email to you..and the requirements of the PRC are the listed above.

Hi Mac, I am not allowed yet to send private message but yes I'm here in The UK. I gathered info through my sister who personally asked about about the details. MIne was 2 weeks unregistered practice. My licences was released after that, but I got licensed 3months prior to the release of the license and board certificate. In fact, in the past most of the applicants of nmc has the same issue and they simply make an explanation letter that in the Philippines we are legally allowed to practice as soon as our names came out in the board passers and published in the news paper. It just happen that the regulatory commission cannot cope to the volume of the applicants that's why it takes time before they could give a license. Unfortunately, now they have a proper way of checking and verificationverification,highly likely because of the Filipino nurse that was convicted.

Anyway, everything should go well if we just comply to their requirements. Have you filed yours?

Hello fellow nurses! I am Lloyd and I am now in the process of submittig documents to the NMC. I would just like to ask if what are the documents needed to be sent to the NMC aside from the forms they require to be returned to them (prc form for verification, doctor to support health, employer reference 1 and 2, from the school).? I am with the new batch of system the nmc application. And for example if we will submit files to the nmc, do we still need to notarize it? Thank you so much. can someone describe to me what an employment referral form that the NMC requires look like? i mean do they send you a copy to be filled out by your employers? i need guidance badly. thank you
