Endorse License to California.. anyone who tried this? INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES

World Registration

Hi there! Still a newbie here. This is my second post. I just want to ask for help. I'm planning to endorse my license to California, but my current license is from FLORIDA, and also I'm an International graduate from the Philippines. I took my NCLEX-RN in the Philippines. My question is, there is a requirement from the CA-BON, for VERIFICATION of License that for INTERNATIONAL GRADUATES

"you must also obtain verification of passage of the appropriate licensing examination from the board of nursing where you took the examination (NCLEX-RN, SBTPE, or five-part licensing examination in Canada)"

I am confused about this, should I send a license verification form where I took my written examination in the Philippines or should I send this form to FLORIDA-BON aside from NURSys? Thank you for all the replies. I appreciate it so much

Kabayan, CA BON requires a copy of your local PH nursing license as well. But just know that it's extremely tough to get an endorsement into CA especially if one graduated from 2004 to 2012 (and maybe 2013) due to the very likely chances that your school's transcripts will not meet the concurrency rules.

You can try it, just know any fees sent is not going to be refunded even if the application is denied/rejected for whatever reason.

Here's my take on the endorsement process as it applies to CA: https://allnurses.com/nurse-registration/endorsement-back-into-746541.html

You might want to post your question in the "Nursing Registration" in the World Nursing section to draw other responses from other PH users.

Good luck!

This simply means that you need to give them the copy of the letter they sent you when they told you that "Congratulations! You passed the nclex exam".
