World Registration

Can anyone help me here, I'm planning to take the LVN exam because I just got denied by CABON because of the concurrency issue..I just want to know:

Method #3 - Equivalent Education and/or Experience(the PHARMACOLOGY course)Do I need to submit it also? and how? or I just need to submit only the

Method #2 - Graduates of an Out-of-State School of Practical/Vocational Nursing.

BTW, I'm an international graduate, Registered Nurse from the Philippines but I can't sit for the NCLEX-RN exam that is why I decided to take this one. Hope someone can answer my question thank you.

HI! I just saw your post and i am experiencing the sme thing. Actually i already pass my NCLEX in vermont i tried endorsing my license in cali but to no avail. I kinda hate how strict CABRN is. They are really giving us a hard time.
Hi! How's the application process in vermont? :) are they also asking for our clinical cases?

To all may kababayan out there good news guys i found a school here in the bay area offering a refresher course for rn that got denied by the bon. I just called them they said they cannot start the class right because they have only 2 students enrolled for the said refresher course. They are looking for at least 8 student to open a class. If you guys inerested you can call them .the name of the school is cornertone international college. Pls. Pm me for those who wanted to enroll so we can go together..

How many months/years will it take to finish the course?

Kabayan,if you look for a school,it has to be approved by the BRN.I looked into boards approved schools, unfortunately I didn't see it on the list. It's useless if you finish the entire deficiencies but the board wouldn't recognize it.Piece of advice, make sure the school

Is approved by the RN board.Good luck

I agree with dragon_lady, I don't see this school as a CA approved one by the BON. Plus it's only a refresher course. It doesn't matter if their website states they are accredited, approved, etc, unless they are on the actual CA BON approved list.

For all we know, this could be one of those that the CA BON discourages from attending, see (click) the link:

http://www.rn.ca.gov/pdfs/schools/unapproved.pdf

i will call the bon to verify

you cAn check the bon website click school and then refresher course.

my bad mga kababayan i just called the bon they said that refresher course from the school i mentioned is not valid they want me to go university or college and enroll to the nursing program and ask the school if i can take only the deficiencies from the letter of bon
