Bridging Program in Australia

World Registration

Published

Hi. I am new here. I don't know exactly where to go. I am a registered nurse here in the Philippines and I am interested in studying in Australia for a bridging course that will help me become a registered nurse there. I need some help on looking for a good school that offers a bridging course.

My aunt told me that a friend of her friend just went to AU to take up a test and in 6 months she's there for a bridging program. and I have this friend who has a friend who became a registered nurse in AU in 6 months time too. This agency is offering me to study for a certificate III aged care with occupational English test for 46 weeks in Einstein College but it costs too much. So now, I am trying to look for a school wherein I can apply by myself and hopefully get in. I am hoping I could leave for AU this June 2011. I am a bit lost on what to do. Can you help me, please? Any suggestions? ? Please help me. Thank you very much. :clown:

(Sydney area would be better since my parents are more familiar and in favor of that place... though other cities/areas will be great too)

When did you send your application to AHPRA?

Hi, I didn't get any interview. They sent me conditional offer letter after few hours of submitting application form.

Hello, may i know from where you found your accommodation? I am having 2nd thoughts on getting the ihna accommodation for 600. Thanks

Hi, I'm also confused about getting accommodation at college campus. Actually, I didn't search for it till now. I would really appreciate if someone from this thread can help us about it.

Hi,

Following are recommended in declaration form

MMR,DPT, varicella, meningococcal, influenza, hepatitis b, TB and no need to go for MRSA swab as they will collect it in perth prior to clinicals.

I was sure at first to get the accommodation from ihna that's because i have no idea where else to find one if not there. But i am blessed enough to be offered by my good friend who is in perth to stay in the apartment where she and her husband are renting.

Though i am still looking for other options if there are places where i could rent cheaper so i won't have to bother my friend anymore.

Perhaps it's good if we could look first for prospect classmates who are willing to share rooms then discuss about it privately.

I would prefer to share accommodation with my classmates. I am also looking for cheaper accommodation. You are lucky enough to get an offer from your friends. I have no known ones in perth. My friends are currently residing in Victoria. So I have no idea about western Australia.

not yet enrolled but I'm waiting for ACN's reply on my application, they said they will email as soon as they review my application. I'm also eyeing 26/6 intake.

Hi cucci, it's also processing for my application at the moment. Keep in touch! :)

Hi everyone, I just want to ask which among IHNA, ETEA and ACFE offers the best bridging program?

I hope you could help me. Thank you.
