Hi, was just wondering if anyone else here is applying as a nurse in Norway??

I am leaving on sept 8 and want to get in touch with other nurses who is planning/hoping to work in Norway..

@gretah: kindly review the sak.no website auxilliary nurse was already removed and was change to helsefagarbeider or health care worker in english.

Does anyone of you here applied the visa 3 months ago? Any updates from UDI?

@vanpen10: my application will going to be 3months on august 21, 2013. I send an email thru udi website and here is their reply...

On our web site, we state that The UDI has recently received a considerable number of applications from skilled workers who wish to study Norwegian, mainly from the Philippines. We have to investigate these cases more closely to ensure that the applications are in accordance with the rules whereby skilled workers can be granted permits for one year to learn Norwegian. This means that people who apply for this type of permit must expect to wait longer than what has previously been the case for this type of application. The oldest cases are currently*six months old.

Once we have processed the application, we will send the decision to you, via the Norwegian embassy.

I would like to ask how much show money do I need to present? And after paying thru credit card the application form, do ineed to book an appointment right away?

@karlito RN can you help me on my application? I still dont have an appointment day. Is it ok to complete first all the requirements before booking an appointment date?

@atashi so UDI's reply is really generic. I'm on my 3 months already waiting for the results. That's the same reply I got when I contacted them. Thanks for your reply though. I hope we won't get to the 5th or 6th month waiting for the results.

Your Bank Account should be 3mos. w/ minimum of 665k php then get bank cert. after 3 mos. -- yep you should complete first your docs. before applying to the embassy

whats your email? i'll send my study plan.. yes authorization has an expiration.. i have a cousin in norway that's why i get an apartment easily..

Hi Karlito.. My email add: [email protected].. If I got authorization for auxiliary nurse feb 2011, how long it will expire? Its really hard to get for me an apartment because I don't have any relatives there. But if you an idea or any information, please let me know.. What area are you preferring? Thank you in advance. ?
