Hi, was just wondering if anyone else here is applying as a nurse in Norway??

I am leaving on sept 8 and want to get in touch with other nurses who is planning/hoping to work in Norway..

Please send me an email or pm

Thanks :-)

Have it photo copied then notarized to public attorney.

i have here my docus which has been certified. i had themfor a while already because i had them authenticated at the DFA. SAK requires the certified true copies.does it mean that i have to send them the authenticated copies(red-ribboned)which i have right now or i can have them photocopied to be sent to SAK?im a litttle worried because if the red ribboned copies are the one needed it means i have to start again from bathering docus. which means more money, time and efforts are needed.

:bluecry1::cry:

and for the coe,i should have it notarized right?

@kyleinthecrib: what i did was i had all my documents photocopied then notarized. Thats it.

Hi everyone! This thread is really helpful. :) I would just like to ask if it's possible to work as an Au Pair in Norway and at the same time process the authorization while you're there? I hope someone would enlighten me. :)

hi guys can i ask.. are they that strict when it comes to "showmoney"?

:) I think it all depends on how complete you documents are, so that it would be faster for them to process. I also emailed them regarding follow-up on my documents if they received it or not, when they replied they asked for my case handling fee. I was confused since, I already included it together with my documents, i think they lost it. =_= or misplaced it or something, so they asked me for another copy and i sent it via email. So guys, it's better to follow-up on your documents every once in awhile

Thank you!!!

I want to job in nor way as a,staff nurse

Hello. I'm on my 4th month waiting for my visa. I haven't paid my giro invoice yet and it was due last August. Do I have to send again my docs and pay my invoice? Can anyone enlighten me with this, thanks.

Dear Carlo

I refer to your e-mail dated 1st of September 2013.

I am afraid your application is not ready yet.

The UDI has recently received a considerable number of applications from skilled workers who wish to study Norwegian, mainly from the Philippines . We have to investigate these cases more closely to ensure that the applications are in accordance with the rules whereby skilled workers can be granted permits for one year to learn Norwegian. This means that people who apply for this type of permit must expect to wait longer than what has previously been the case for this type of application. The oldest cases are currently six months old.

hei karlo.

may i ask if do you already have safh? wen did you submit your docs to the embassy? ty.

no .. i dont have safh.. i submit my docs last july 9 2013
