Hi everyone,

I'm planning to apply as an auxiliary nurse in Norway. I just visited the safh website & I've seen the requirements but can anyone please tell me the exact documents you've sent to safh. I want to avoid sending wrong documents. Do I need to have for example my school documents be certified true copy by the school first then have it notarized by a lawyer or just have it notarized by a lawyer direclty?

I've been working for 2 years as a nurse volunteer, do you think I have a chance to be granted the license?

I hope you can help me. Thank you!

hi there fuffz provide xeroxed copy of the following then have it notarized,,:

nbi, birth certificate- original no need to be notarized

baptismal certificate

copy of passport

good day,,

i got my authorization as a helsefagarbeider, now i'm applying as a job seeker in norway to look for a job. may uncle told me that there are jobs as a helsefagarbeider. i was told that i will be studying their language if able to have a job. being a helsefagarbeider, mostly, are not permanent, meaning they work only for a required time (like contractuals).

is it a good move for me to do this? and will i be able to become a nurse there in time if my application allows me to be there? and will the udi give me a working permit?

thank you..

hello everyone...

I just received my giro from SAFH... and here are the answers from few questions that I read.

- the cost is 1,120 kroner

-as of June 1, 2011, all applications for hjelpeplier will be processed as healthcare worker(helsefagarbeider). No choice i guess because applicants educated outside of the EU are not granted with a general nurse authorization right away. We need to take the bridging courses and master the language (not in the giro already).

- the validity of the giro is only 4 months after that, it's voided. You have to send another set of documents.

-do we need to send a copy of Birth certificate and NBI clearance?

Please reply if I have mistakes.Thanks.

I have a question for those who already have their license.

- Do I need to send the lower portion of the giro (colored yellow) back to SAFH? Is it just for bank processing? Any suggestion with regard to banks in the Philippines which already processed such?Including the branch please.

Mange takk.

hi richelle,

thank you so much for answering my questions & for listing the documents that I'll be sending. But do I already need to send the following documents you gave me as I did not find these in SAFH website?

-nbi, birth certificate- original no need to be notarized

-baptismal certificate

-cv

-certificates of trainings and seminars

I've also seen this in the website, I don't know what kind of document is this.

-Certified statement from the health authorities in education, land or last country of residence within the Community, which confirms that your education meets the EU Directive 2005/36/EC on general education.

Someone told me to provide 3 valid IDs. Can you confirm this?

Thank you much Richelle & God bless you too.

Another question for all those who have successfully obtained their visa.

-- If I don't have a guarantee letter from someone from Norway and I have a proof of subsistence, does the money stay in my bank account for 6 months prior to the application or it doesn't matter?

Guidance please!!!! Thanks a lot.
