Hi NPs! What profession-related magazines/newsletters/services do you subscribe to? Or maybe they're provided for you through your company. Just curious what everyone enjoys reading!

Specializes in Nephrology, Cardiology, ER, ICU.

I'll be honest I don't actually read journal article after journal article unless I can't sleep at night - lol

However, I am a member of American Assoc of NPs and American Assoc of Nephrology Nurses as well as my statewide APRN organization.

I get e-journals from all of them and I also subscribe to the Renal Physician's Association e-link that gives me a synopsis of renal news.

I like to peruse journal article abstracts to see if it is pertinent to my practice then go from there.

Specializes in Reproductive & Public Health.

Uptodate is my constant companion. I also belong to ACNM and get their journal, and I have access to ACOG (through a kindly colleague, shhh don't tell). Am going to join NAF as soon as I get my act together (application has been sitting on my desk, half done, for an embarrassingly long time). I use uptodate for my day to day work. I use ACNM and ACOG mostly for my own enjoyment, and when I am working on a specific presentation/project or whatever.

Specializes in FNP.

I'm basically logged into UpToDate constantly while working, have the mobile app, and access it from home PC all the time.

Specializes in Adult Internal Medicine.

UpToDate I use constantly.

NEJM and JAMA I read through, well really I skim it unless something piques my interest.

Specializes in allergy and asthma, urgent care.

I use Uptodate frequently. My practice also subscribes to a few allergy and asthma journals that I read in downtime.
