Does the NP have the potential to make 300k? I have read that some NP's CAN but they are working in private facilities and have years of exp. I wonder is this true? Any info would be helpful.

Specializes in Nephrology, Cardiology, ER, ICU.

Hmmm - not in my neck of the wood! Heck our ER MD's (employed by the hospital) only make about $200k.

Would like to know the particulars for this one.

Specializes in Med/Surg, Geriatrics.

I'm going to step out on a limb here and without doing any formal research, I'll say no way, no how. If you come across different info, let me know I may have to consider doing a post-master's program.

Specializes in ICU, ER, HH, NICU, now FNP.

Maybe if an NP owned a clinic, did some entrepreneurial dealings on the side - like acting as director for a couple of beauty spa type clinics for a fee, did some consulting, speaking etc...

That NP would be a VERY busy NP - it could be done, but it would be very much the exception!

This sounds more logical
