You know what I don't even recall putting nothing like that down. It really doesn't even matter as long as I get in.

Hi guys! I know many people who really wanted in the ADN program but applied to the LPN program too just in case they didn't get in. Most of them have already gotten in to the ADN program so the numbers for LPN should go down quite a bit. :spin:

Thanks dragonfly29! That gives me an extra boost of hope! I wish the best to everyone as we wait. I am currently on the waitlist at Queens for the ASN program. At this point, I will be thankful for either the LPN or ASN acceptance letter!! up:

You will know it is the acceptance letter because it will come in a HUGE envelope which has your form for physicals, finger prints, and back ground checks.

Be prepared for a full time job of school.

You will be in class 8-3:00pm each day, you do not get to pick schedules for class or clinicals, they assign them for you. Be prepared for this. You will be expected to pre read and study at least another few hours after that, so your day will be long.

You cannot miss too many days, missing a certain amount of days leads to failure. Do not come late, the door will be shut and you are not allowed in until break.

Have RELIABLE child care if you have children, I do not, because leaving will count against your absence record.

This is something that is not easy "just" because it is an LPN program.

Thanks for the heads up! My number one cheerleader is my husband and no matter what schedule I may get (Day or Evening), he's willing to work around which is great If I get in the program that is, I am well prepared to put in work and study be beyond my best. If I don't get in I'm prepared to keep working and finish up some more pre reqs and apply to the some more programs.
