Hello all!!

I was just curious if anyone applied to CCHS for Fall 2009?! I am anxiously waiting for a letter in the mail, and was wondering if any other applicants have received a letter of acceptance or denial yet!! I'm crossing my fingers I will get in, I had HORRIBLE high school grades but am finishing up my Medical Assisting degree and have straight A's in all of those courses. Hopefully they will take that into consideration!

Also I would love to hear from anyone who attended CCHS - how competitive was it to get in, do they have a waiting list, what GPA you had when you applied. Also i'm very curious about how difficult the school is! Any information is greatly appreciated!!!!

Did anyone apply to CCHS for the fall of 2012?????? I am anxiously waiting for my letter!!:lol2:

I was placed on the alternate (wait) list for the nursing program. I am happy that I still have a chance to get in CCHS for the fall of 2012... Did anyone else get accepted or wait listed???

I was just offered a spot into their pre-nursing for fall 2012. I wanted to get into the nursing program, but after completing the CNA program this past april and speaking with many pre-nursing students they had a good point. Most programs might have a wait list for 2/ 2/12 years...so pre- nursing really is a good deal and a good program. I was also a late applicant for the fall, and really expected to get into the spring program but got a call last week.

Hmmm I wonder if it is to late to apply for the fall 2012 pre-nursing program now.. I really thought I would get offered a spot from the alternate list to begin the nursing program in the fall. I received an email last week stating that the Fall 2012 nursing class was full and none of the alternates have been offered a spot. It was so disappointing. However, I have applied for the nursing and pre-nursing program for the Spring 2013 semester. I am still waiting on that letter in the mail. This whole process is crazy!!

I'm in their pre-nursing program right now and I can tell you IT IS THE WAY TO GO! Study hard, get good grades, and be guaranteed a spot in the nursing program. I currently have a 4.0 and will be guaranteed a spot for spring 2013. They have pulled a few people from the waitlist, I think 3 or 4, but it doesn't look like any more will be selected. Trying to take Nursing WITH A&P, Med Term, Micro, etc is A LOT of work. I love the fact that ALL of my classes will be done when I start Nursing (the majority of my classes transfered from a previous college). Friends of mine who are taking nursing, A&P 2, and another class all at the same time are struggling right now. I'll only have micro in the fall and then will start NURSING in January!

So I got my letter back for the Spring 2013 Semester.. I was wait-listed again for the nursing program!!!!! I applied for Pre-nursing too but the letter didnt mention whether or not I was accepted for the pre-nursing program. I am so aggravated:banghead:

Sorry for your frustrations! The pre-nursing letter will be mailed separately as they stagger when things get mailed out. I'm sure you'll hear something soon. Good luck!
