VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

Yep! The whole test is multiple choice, and I didn't use a book to study so I cant recommend one (sorry).

I feel exactly the same way you do GoaLSeeker! That maybe I thought it was easy, but in fact it wasn't!!! UGH! I want this soooooo bad!!!

good so I am not the only one. :) I will have to keep myself busy for a month or more to keep my mind from wondering how I did. The results should be in the mailbox by the end of March or beginning of April.

Yea, you're def not the only one. I'm beyond nervous and I think it's killing me even more knowing that the results won't be in the mail for a while!Sheesh I'm gonna try to stop being overly anxious lol

I'm testing march 8th ... what is this interview like ?I took the bus and it wasn't bad at all ....

Hey everyone good luck to you all taking the pre-entrance exam im currently enrolled in the program and i must say it sure is intense just last week we had 6 test in a 4day week! but if your motivated it can be done just think positive and enjoy your freedom b/c after sept 2011 veeb will lock u down lol! But i must say im enjoying my experience the faculty and staff are helpful make you stay on top of your game they may seem tough but its just tough love!

The "interview" is when they call you into the library and ask for your diploma,birth certificate, and I.D. I found this out when being tested because one of the ppl I tested w/ asked the instructor when the interview would be and she answered by saying that you all have already had it when you gave the faculty your docments... we were all shocked! She also stated that if they feel the need to interview a second time because they were a bit leery about you or some of your docments, they will call you and ask for one. So I had no clue that I was being interviewed, which is kinda cool because I guess they wanna get a feel of the real you (who knows)

Am going in on Wednesday to get an application for the exam. Do u guys think its to late for the exam? also what book do you use to study for the exam.

No its not to late there was no one there when I went this morning .... I mean no one .... it took me longer to get there than to get the appliication and the lil explantion she did ..... anyway she said to get an sat or ged book ....

hello also plan on applying to veeb...going to pick up an app tomorrow as well...just wondering...i called the school and they said that you have to pay $200 when you go to take the test is that true? bcuz that a lot of money...also how long is the exam?
