U.S.A. New York

Hello,

I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten their acceptance letter for the Fall 2012 CDP program at pace.

Thank you

i mean Spring 2013.

I e-mailed over the weekend and haven't gotten a response..

pretty confused about the whole situation.. I'm just assuming we are accepted into the program with a pending start date??

I replied back with pretty much the same thing as you. I also replied over the weekend and have not received a response yet. I also assume that we're in? I'm going to call admissions to verify just in case.

Hi theNicole, did u call admissions office yet?

I called the admissions office today, and the person (didn't catch her name) told me to e-mail ***** (admissions counselor). The person told me that Pace is currently in the process of replying to our e-mails. I e-mailed the admissions counselor, and this is her reply:

"Hello,

This email is to confirm you are still on the Waitlist for fall 2012. However, if you are not pulled off the waitlist you will be guaranteed admissions to either the spring or fall 2013 classes. Please be aware the spring 2013 class in offered in Pleasantville. You will receive more information regarding this option within the next 3-4 weeks. Hope this information helps."

Thanks theNicole for the info.

has anyone heard anything back regarding the waiting list?? i e-mailed them and havent gotten a response..

its definitely been 3-4 weeks since i received that letter

Hey muffin1120,

I received an e-mail yesterday from admissions. Here's what the e-mail said:

"Dear Nicole,

On behalf of the Admission Committee, I am writing about your status on the waitlist for the Accelerated BSN to Masters Combined Degree Program in the Lienhard School of Nursing at Pace University’s College of Health Professions. The class for Fall 2012 has been finalized and we will not be admitting students from the waitlist.

As indicated in your waitlist letter, I am pleased to offer you admission to the Spring 2013 class in Pleasantville, NY or the Fall 2013 class in New York City. In order to expedite this process, I am requesting that you let me know which semester you would like to begin the program by responding to this email by September 15, 2012. As soon as I receive your reply a formal letter of admission will be mailed to you.

We received an unprecedented number of applications for this program and I congratulate you on your many achievements. Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions as we finalize the process for you. My direct phone number is **********.

Enjoy the last days of summer!"

Just FYI, I already e-mailed them last time that I am interested in the Spring 2013 start date, but...I guess they want me to e-mail it to them again. I contacted admissions twice during the month long gap to find out what is going on with the waitlist, etc. I hope this helps! :)

I got the same message yesterday. I like the sping option but, I live in NJ. I don't know how I will be commutting to pleasanrville for classes and clinicals. Does anybody have idea or advice on how this will be easy?

That does help, thank you :) I didn't get any e-mail yet. Which is getting me worried because I want to start in th spring so badly ... I guess I will see if I get more info next week.. If not I'll call

@ paazie: I'm coming from CA, and I'm looking into graduate housing/dorms as my living option the first year (until I get to know the neighborhood and area a little better).

@ muffin1120: You're welcome! I'm glad I'm able to help! :)

Ok TheNicole, thanks. I might have to drive: it's about one hr drive from my place and 2+ hrs with public tramsportation.

you're coming all the way from CA?!?

that's nuts, but awesome.

I live in New jjersey, not trying to commute though, i def. want to find an apartment or housing close to pleasantville campus so i can focus on school and not worry about commuting and everything like that.

its going to be rough with money..

I hope i get an e-mail from them soon that I can confirm my spot and everything..

so nervous but so excited
