Do not go to pace. I am currently in the program and just started my second semester and it is BY FAR the worst experience if my life. The first semester IS NOT easy it's tough and a lot if work and a lot of people fail out. The teachers and the school do not care if u pass they teach toward the NCLEX only and will not help if u are having trouble. I saw a lot of my friends fail out who would have been great nurses because they didnt meet the 3.0 gpa. Anyone who does meet it barely meets it at least most of the students. It's frustrating, you will have no life, which was expected but not to this degree. And you bust ur butt for a 3.0. This program sets you up for failure and if I had known I would have been patient and waited for acceptance into another program. However if this school is your only option take the two year route... They are happier/ not much but a little. Anyway, good luck to you and if u want more details u can message me.

Yeah, i e-mailed the admissions counselor and he fixed it and sent me a new letter wlecoming me to the one year program. PS. we started continuing the convo in the absn spring 2013 cohort :) join us!

awesome, how can we do that without violating the terms of service on this website by getting FB names.. i tried making one, but i need to invite at least one member or i cant make it lol any suggestions? and are u commuting or going to live there? have u decided yet?

taratessa-- are u doing the one yea or two year program?? i would love to start a group on FB so we can start chatting about everything :) let me know what you think, and if any other people hear good news about starting in the spring, post it ..good luck to everyone else!

Well I applied last semester for the fall and got waitlisted because they filled their class. not sure how many other people are in this situation, but if so, i am started in the spring for the one year accelerated program. I hope you find out soon Ginamarie, i know how frustrating the waiting process is jsut keep calling them, and seeing what your status is

hello again, i just got my acceptance package in the mail for spring, odd because i Applied for the bsn 1 year program, but my letter says my acceptance is for the two year program, which i really didnt want to do... did anyone else run into this problem?? i am going to call on tuesday to see what it's about. anyone else starting the 2 year program in spring at pleasantville??

you're coming all the way from CA?!? that's nuts, but awesome. I live in New jjersey, not trying to commute though, i def. want to find an apartment or housing close to pleasantville campus so i can focus on school and not worry about commuting and everything like that. its going to be rough with money.. I hope i get an e-mail from them soon that I can confirm my spot and everything.. so nervous but so excited

i mean Spring 2013. I e-mailed over the weekend and haven't gotten a response.. pretty confused about the whole situation.. I'm just assuming we are accepted into the program with a pending start date??

Yes, I e-mailed them saying that i want to remain on the waiting list and if I don't get in for fall I want to start in the Spring of 2012 at Pleasantville. Did you reply yet?
