NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

Hi there, my name is Corey and I have been accepted into the program. I look forward to meeting all of you later this year! Are any of you currently working on financial aid / student loans from banks? I am in the process & would like any feedback with anyones experience. My financial aid package doesn't cover the program / my cost of living here in NYC and wanted to see if anyone was in a similar situation. I have spoken to a lot of people who have been through the program and they said there is no way you could be successful academically and work, not even a part-time or evening job. Oof!

i applied before march 1st. i went to nyu undergrad and had a high gpa for both my pre reqs and my overall undergraduate. i turned in 2 letters of reco from past / current employers & wrote a really heart filled essay.

I wish you all the best. Keep your head up and don't ever lose your hope of becoming a great nurse! As of me, I am still waiting ... and it's not fun at all! I try to keep myself positive and hopeful but on the inside I am very hopeless :unsure:.

Rejected at 8:19am but it's okay, I have already committed to Seton Hall's second degree program which I am really excited about. Best of luck to everyone still waiting on a decision.

Nothing here. I am hoping that they are sending out acceptances a little late today since they had so many names to load into the automated system:)

For the rejection letters, is the subnet line the same "here's your NYU admission decision?"

I've emailed, called the admission counselors since April and still no answer. It seem some were able to get a response after contact. I'm from the mid-West and it seem that they don't have admissions allocated to this area. Lol
