Hello,

Can anyone share the names or links of nursing schools in NJ that one can get to by public transportation from NYC? I am looking for a second degree BSN program. Thanks!

You can try Farleigh Dickerson University in Teaneck, NJ; it's 15 minutes away from the GWB by car and about 45 minutes by commuter bus.

I think UMDNJ has a campus in Newark, it is an accelerated program only, I think. I don't know what the commute is like, but it shoudn't be that bad.

Specializes in Nurses who are mentally sicked.

Don't know much about it...

But good luck anyway....

Specializes in Med/ Surg and Orthopedics.

You can also try Bergen Community College in Paramus. Take the bus from GW bus station on 178 Street or 42 street then transfer at Garden State Plaza. There is a but that goes straight to the College.

UMDNJ Newark is an accelerated BSN program. It's a PATH train ride from the city to Newark Penn Station and then a free UMDNJ shuttle to campus.

you better off lookin for a school in brooklyn ... only a train ride away
