No Problem! Anything I can do to help the next person, I've been in your position and I know what it is like job hunting. Nassau University Medical Center, if you go to the human resources dept they will accept your resume unlike most places will tell you to do everything online.
Triss, you are very concern. Some people don't even try to help u. Thank u again.

Thank you!! As long as you are persistent something will come along! I also have recently gotten calls from Pilgrim Psychiatric Center. Also I am not sure how far you live from Northport, but the nurse recruiter at the VA Hospital is amazing and will try and help you as best as she can. I would definitely go there turn in an application, resume, etc.
Hi! I also graduated in May 2012, but with my associates. I'm working on getting my bachelors now though. I've been applying to LIJ ever since I graduated and still nothing -_- How long did it take someone at LIJ to get back to you after you had applied?

I graduated May of 2012, I had been applying since August and finally received a call this past May. the hiring process is fairly quick. If this is a system that you are truly passionate about working for I suggest applying every single day, continuously look for new job postings and keep applying, if you are persistent you will get a call. It is a long and frustrating process before the call, but once you get it, it will be well worth it. Trust me.

AWESOME! CONGRATS! I am in my second week working there and it is an amazing organization1 You are very luck to have received a call! In all honesty just be yourself! Mainly behavioral questions, why do you wanna be a nurse, etc. SMILE SMILE SMILE! They like honest, real, genuine people who are passionate about what they came there to do. Give positive answers, even if you have had a negative experience else where or have a weakness (which they will ask you about) turn it into something positive. Everything is about the patient! You are there to provide a service to the patient which is your main focus. If this is what you really want, it will show in your interview. I wish you all the best and please keep me posted! BTW which hospital are you interviewing for within the system..?

I have been applying since last August...you just gotta keep applying, thousands and thousands of people apply to the NSLIJ system everyday! Keep getting your name in that database and be persistent. They have alot of positions available, but you have to remember the vast amounts of people who are applying for the same position as you. The strongest will survive!!! KEEP APPLYING!!!

Hi! I was wondering If you could tell me what the pharm exam was like. Was yours online too? The nurse recruiter said it was basic stuff but I'm still nervous to take it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
