Hello all!
As I'm applying for various hospitals as a new grad, I'm seriously considering New York Downtown Hospital. Does anyone know anything about NYDH? How is their salary, benefits, nurse-patient ratio, working environment, and etc. I have a friend whose work at NYDH as a social worker and she seems to like it so far but I'm not so sure about their nursing. Any comments will be appricated!
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Sammi15,
I was wondering if you got any info about NY downtown hospital.
No, the nurse recruiter never get in touch with me. Since New York Downtown Hospital is a really small community hospital, I feel they don't have much need to hire new nurses. I end up finding a better job in LI and I couldn't be happier. Give yourself a good 1 month or 2 to find a job.
Good luck! Keep us posted!

Which LI hospital did you go with? Glad to here that everything worked out well for you.
I'm working @ Winthrop University Hospital on an oncology floor. The staff nurses are FABULOUS on my floor!!!!!
Worked there. Really miss the smoothies & the gift shop. Great choice.
