Dear fellow nurses,

I am a new graduate nurse from st.vincents catholic medical center of staten island new york. I am looking to expand and get off of staten island. I wish to work in st lukes roosevelt, new york presbyterian, st vincents nyc, maimomidies brooklyn, staten island university hospital. If anyone would like to submit their opinion i would greatly appreciate it. If anyone is interested in submitting a nurse referral, it would be greatly appreciated as well. I work at NY Pres, and like it pretty well. The benefits and pay are top-notch. What specialty are you interested in?

Most departments are only hiring experienced nurses at this point.

im looking for med surg or the icu. im open to anything honestly. i do hear great things about that hospital.im sure its great working with the babies!you don't think they would accept a new nurse with an associate degree? :)

It may have changed, but the last I heard, the Children's Hospital was only hiring experienced nurses with BSNs. The adult side seems to be heading that way... the only way to know for sure is to call the NYP recruiter.
