Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn

  1. I interviewed for a position at this hospital and was wondering if anybody has any experience working there. Also, how long did it take before you heard back from them after the interview? I would appreciate your response. Thanks.

It is city owed hospital...and it is very hard to predict what they would do.
However, during the interview, they would give me an answer right away. I have applied for positions in a few HHC Hospitals, and they all hired me; but I only picked the one I am working for right now.

I've been out of Brooklyn for a little while now, so I don't know how things are there (at Kings County) currently. But I would say at the very least, you won't be bored.

Thanks to all of you that responded to my post. I have been waiting for about a month now. I contacted them and they said it takes about two months to process applications. I thought that was ridiculous. Anyway, I am interviewing at other hospitals. If I get something before they call me, well, that will be their loss.

gt4everpn, I wish you luck. I hope you get the job. I know they need nurses it's just that red tape gets in the way and delays the hiring process.
