Has anybody had any kind of work experience at Sterling Manor in south jersey? If so, how was it?

I am a new grad LPN and may be offered a position and was wondering if this is a good first step.

How is it working in ltc? I know it's different from assisted living but how much different?

in LTC you do more nursing,pegs,colostomy,Iv's,wound care but alot of meds...in Assisted Living you do more meds then anything else and paper work alot of paper work....

21-25,pool or perdiem is the higher rate,21 is usually the 7-3 then it goes up with shifts

maybe the 4 emergencies happened because they have med techs giving out medications instead of licensed nurses who look up meds before they give them out-- Just a thought form a 30 year veteran RN
