Sterling Manor

Has anybody had any kind of work experience at Sterling Manor in south jersey? If so, how was it?

I am a new grad LPN and may be offered a position and was wondering if this is a good first step.

Did you get the position? How was it?

They talked like they needed me right away, then never called. I had a bad feeling about that

place any way. I was recently offered a position in assisted living that I am going to take.

I am a new grad too and was offered a position also, i was do to start today, but because everyone I talked to say that wasn"t a good place I didn't take the position. I am currently still looking for employment in the south jersey area. If you can help me with any leads it would greatly be appreciated:wink2:

I have found that going to places personally, instead of emailing or faxing, works better.

I was offered a position after attending a local job fair and talking with someone face to face.

Thanks for info but that's what I've been doing going in person to apply. I was offered two jobs in ltc but i declined the one in maple shade because I talked to alot of people and they said it was not a good place to work, and when i went in to fill out the application i didn"t like the environment, the other job is in mt. laurel at a ltc i was hired on 3/11 did the drug test the same day, and they say their still waiting for references to come back. I went to a job fair at a assisted living in voorhees last tues and went in for interview yesterday hopefully, i will get the job it is part-time but i will take it. I just need a job and i am anxious to start working. Thanks for replying back;)

Both jobs called me yesterday and offered me a position. The job in mt. laurel is full time 3-ll. The other position was in voorhees at a assisted living part time every other wknd 7-3, so i agreed to take both of them. My orientation for the assisted living is this coming wednesday for 5 days and the orientation for the one in mt. laurel is 4/23 so I will be pretty busy these coming weeks. How is things with you? Have you started working yet?

Filled out the hiring paperwork for part time assisted living, waiting for a call with start date, they said it may be by the end of this week.

I also was called back for a second interview for another assisted living for part time weekend work, and I go there this Thursday. Keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

Got the call today, will be on orientation for the next 3 weeks and I start this Wednesday.

I only want part time for now and am looking into LPN-RN options.

Good for you!!!! I am suppose to start orientation this week also. I am nervous and excited at the same time. The assisted living I will be working at is on Laurel Oak Rd in Voorhees. It will be every other weekend 7-3. Good luck with the job and orientation:)

this must be 5 stars???I work at the washington township one eow,and at a nursing home perdiem for the past few months

Yes that"s it, but i don't like it. I am a new nurse and to be in charge on the weekends is too much for me.

to mume2mykidz: I am orienting at washington twp. for eow. How long have you been there?

Is it a decent place to work? Right now it seems like there are alot of changes going on and all

heck is breaking loose. I am a brand new nurse and don't want to get in over my head.

I was also recently offered a per diem position at a LTC facility.
