I recently got accepted to Seton Hall University's direct entry clinical nurse leader program. I started a thread because I didn't see another one and would like to discuss the program with others, and make sure we're all on track for the fall!

Hi, I'm glad I found this thread. I was also accepted into the CNL program for Fall 2014. I actually sent out an email to everyone through Blackboard, but I'm not sure if everyone has seen it. I started a Facebook group for our year, so you should check it out!

Hi everyone,

I found out yesterday that I was accepted as well. I don't have any of my SHU info yet except my SHU ID. Hopefully I'll join the excitement of the facebook group when I get my other stuff in order.

How long did it take before you all got that information? My admissions letter was emailed to me, so I don't know what else comes in the packet except that so far.

Hey, you need to have 15 posts in order to get approval for PM's.. Sorry! But I applied a while ago and I actually got an interview with them. I am a little nervous because they only accept 20 students .. have you heard anything yet? When did you apply?

Hi I have an interview next week for this program and would like to know any tips and how to prepare for the interview? If anyone recalls their experience it would be appreciated. Also for those already in the program how are you liking it?

Hi, yeah I'm willing to help especially since no one was able to answer me. But honestly prepare for them to ask you ANYTHING. I was suppose to do an in person interview but with the weather I settled for the phone interview and I believe it was a big mistake. I had two people interviewing me over the phone and they asked very random question, not much of proving why I want to be in the program but more of why I got such and such grades in my undergrad degree and other random questions based on my academic past. Honestly I felt attacked but I know they were doing their jobs. Unfortunately they didn't accept me so I hope you can convince them better than I did. Prepare to explain why this school and program and how you will commute or set up a place to stay if you are an out of state student. Know the basic interview questions as well. And please do an in person interview instead of over the phone it seems to be a big plus. I hope this helps if I can think of anything else I will add later.
