Hello everyone! Help!

I'm in NJ, can anyone tell me if they know of any NJ morphotrak fingerprinting sites that accepts walk-ins?? Also, how long did it take you NJers to get fingerprint results?

Thanks for the help!

UGH, takes forever to get an appointment!

Most no longer take walk-ins because of the variety of agencies they perform fingerprinting services for. Try calling the customer service 800# on your application form. It was about a 10 day wait for my appointment. Some came and tried to do a walk in and were turned away. The appts are scheduled every few minutes.

Initial fingerprints and background check take 2-3 weeks to get back to the Dept. of Community Affairs/NJ BoN since one check is through the NJSP State Bureau of Investigation and another is through the FBI.

I ended up making my fingerprint appointment at a location much further away in NJ than I would like so that I could get it done within a week. The location I went to was in an office building about 30 minutes north of Trenton.

I went to a place in Cherry Hill. The office was very run down, even filthy and the people (staff and patrons) looked questionable.... oh, New Jersey. :(

I did mine in Paramus and it took all of 2 minutes. There was definately plenty of time to accept walk-ins, but I think you jave to be scheduled so they have your information on the list in the computer. So I'd recommend scheduling the earliest date you can (mine was about 10 days after I got my paperwork) and then call in the mornings and see if they can get you in earlier.
