I trying to get NJ license by endorsement, but looks like the process is long and tedios. I check other nurses answers but not for this year! any one recently went thru this process? can you tell me how long should I wait? I call the board almost every other day and the answer is to be patient. any suggestions out there?
Iam trying to do RN licence endorsement from NY to NJ.I already sent online application for endorsement ,Scheduled fingerprint after 2 weeks . do I needto do CGFNS credential evaluation?Iam a BSN from India.I already save the documents in CGFNS e -save,when i took nclex rn in NY. can I send transcript through e Das (saved transcript in cgfns)? or new CES?Please suggest me what I have to do next.Am confused ,My job is is waiting.

Hi. I just wanted to know if you were able to Endorsed your license to NJBON? About the CGFNS CES how did it go? Hope to hear from you. Thank you.

As per the BON website
International RNs
Internationally educated nurses have two preliminary steps before they complete the application, do the criminal background check, and take the NCLEX. They must have their coursework evaluated by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). They will also need to take an English proficiency exam, and have scores sent to the CGFNS.
There is a total of $225 due to the New Jersey Board by international candidates who are applying for license by examination.

Thanks for the reply silverdragon! I Have read the information on their website but I did not see any specific instruction for “endorsement” in regards to international educated nurses. They do state CGFNS and an English exam is required for applying for license by “examination”. I just wonder if that holds true with endorsement as well.
