alright, alright.....slinkyheadCNA

I can definitely understand the rant and frustration. That sign did say to put applications under the door in a folder. But that sign could apply to the other limited-entry programs as well. Nursing isn't the only field that has a limited-entry program.

Definitely, try to contact them when the office opens up.

i will definitely call her once she gets off vacation....i will probably suggest as nicely as possible to put that on the applications or the admission criteria sheet so this doesn't happen to anyone else...what if i had never found out? i might not have known and could possibly have had to wait another six months to apply again!

Hi ladies,I am applying for Spring 2012 full-time with 29 points. I don't have work experience and I only got 2 pts for my TEAS but I got 5 or 6 for my GPA. So I hope that is good enough. I met with the health advisor yesterday at the Cheyenne campus and she sounded positive about my situation but who knows.

joianett, 29 pts is really good. I'm not the expert on points, but I'd definitely like the chances with 29 pts. Before you know it, September would be here.

My bladder is bursting with anticipation!

I hear that 27 & up is good ... I just cannot wait

lol the health programs advisor at charleston campus...the one who gives the orientations for health programs....told me that 28 is pretty much guaranteed...27 depends on the semester...and 26 also depends on the cutoff! so you're golden

Lol thanks!! So nervous but I know I've done all I can do at this pt... I came up with 28 pts and the health advisor says that I got 29 ? Hmm, I know I either have 5 or 6 pts for my GPA for the pre-reqs, so that must be the difference... Is is Sept- oct yet lol

thinking ahead.....Does any one know of any other jobs that could be taken along with the RN program here in Vegas?

i should probably create a new topic on this...

what do you mean "jobs that could be taken along with the rn program here in vegas?"

I think he means part time flexible jobs, places that are hiring, or LTC's that will work with a students (CNA's) schedule. Right ?

bingo!

A full time student would need a job to pay the bills!!!
