Un-Registered Nurse in Ca

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hello there I am new here!!

I took NCLEX March 25, 2016. At 77 questions the test stopped. Three hours after my exam I did the PVT and got the "good pop up." However, my name does not appear on the breeze.ca.gov. We cannot do quick results in California so we rely on the PVT. I redid the trick 6 days after my exam and still got the good pop up. Another person I know took it the same day and her name appeared on Breeze two days later.

Now I'm thinking did I pass???

Any ideas or suggestions??

Thank you!!! I will do that.

Hi, there! I took my NCLEX-RN yesterday and it shut off at 88 questions. Although I am completely convinced that I failed, I am receiving the "good pop-up." I don't know how to feel about any of it and am continuously checking for my license number/name on the BreEZe site. Have you found out any more information?

If you've been getting the good popup (after inputting your credit card info and NOT getting billed $200 each time you do it) for several days, chances are very good that you've actually passed. Any delays usually are due to issues at the BRN. Those issues can range from big backlog for all their analysts/processor folks to not having all the data they need from your application to issue you a license to it simply being the weekend. A classmate of mine and I were quite lucky in that we got our license numbers within 36 hours of taking the exam. A number of classmates had to wait around a week. Some had to wait longer than that.

If you've paid for the IP, look for the IP to be cancelled. When that happens, it usually means someone is working on your file and they've noticed (officially) that you've taken the NCLEX. Your License numbers should follow shortly thereafter. The lag time from IP cancellation to RN licensed was probably less than an hour.

THANKYOU. As of today I am still getting the good pop-up but it's only been a little over 24 hours that I have taken it so I am hoping that it will not change. I really appreciate your reply and will certainly be looking for the change/cancellation in my IP status. Thank you, again!

Hey there, I have been checking every day since I took NCLEX and so far I haven't seen my name on the breeze site. I called the BRN and so far I can't get through. Some people have told me that the PVT is just a glitch and that scares me.

I don't remember if I mentioned this before but a former classmate of mine took it the same day and her name appeared on the site two days later. I don't know what to think anymore.

Thanks for your response, I didn't know about this process. I'm sorry to say that I don't know what an IP is. I'm starting to thing it might have to do with my SS#. In the beginning, it was hard for me to get my ATT due to the fact that they had my SS# wrong. So I had to email a picture of my ID and SS so they could give me my ATT. I just thought this wouldn't be an issue anymore. I'm just hoping I passed.

When did you take yours? I completely feel your pain right now, though. The worry is pretty much consuming me. Wishing you the best outcome! Let me know if you hear anything!

I took mine on the 25th of March and I still haven't heard anything, good or bad. I will certainly keep you posted and I also wish you the best outcome as well.

It is different for everyone. If your license was not posted within 2 days, then you will most likely have to wait 4-6 weeks for it to get posted. But, if the PVT is still good even after all this time, the likelihood of you passing is almost 100%. Congrats. Go celebrate.
