Took NCLEX-RN today 5/29

Nursing Students NCLEX

So....I just took the NCLEX-RN today 5/29, and shut off at 75 questions and got the good pop up! I think I may have actually passed!!!!! Woo-hoo!! Hopefully the PVT is accurate.

The test was way harder than I thought it would be (sorry everyone), and my school is known to be VERY good at preparing us for NCLEX. I had about 20 SATA, 1 drag and drop, some meds I didn't know, pretty much a very broad range of topics. And also had some of those conference questions, which I thought were pretty straight forward.

I used the study guide someone posted here, Saunders review book, and PDA by LaCharity (recommend!). I did not do a live review or anything.

I'm a happy girl!

Congrats!!!!!!

Congrats!!

I am waiting for my email saying I can schedule my exam.

Congrats! Im nervous with it being the new blueprint with all the alternatives!

hey i also took my nclex today.....but the nite before was horrible exhaustig first because of these tornado and all p.s nclex itself.

Mine shut off at 75 as well ,just trying to stay positive ......finger crossed..............:)

I also had alot of prioritization questions, who you would see FIRST. No math, no ECGs, no delegation. But I know everyone's test is different so definately study it all! But the SATA questions just kept coming!! Ugh I hate those!! And I was suprised at the level of difficulty...I thought it would be a bit easier (more basic questions)..NOPE!! You definately need to know content, disease processes, in order to be able to answer alot of the questions!!

And....if i DID in fact pass, I start my first RN job the 1st week of July on the Mother/Baby unit! Life is good :)

Specializes in Peds, Float, Ambulatory, Telemetry (new).

Awesome. Congrats!! Yeah mine was way difficult too when I took it a year ago. Some weird questions on that thing, I was sure I failed lol

i had a hot spot questions, priority lot SATA OMG so many things i had not heard of........yea n of course medication haven't heard them in my entire life.....just waiting for the Friday

I have a question--for the meds you had never heard of, do they tell you what the patient's diagnosis or other info so you may be able to deduce the correct answer?
