Took my NCLEX for second time and got 265 questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi everyone,

I took my NCLEX for the second time yesterday. I failed back in November at 75. I didn't take the test seriously and had gaps in my content. I took the Kaplan review at the beginning of January and scored 64% on my diagnostic and 67% on my readiness. (Might have been vice versa).

I did the PVT trick the first time I took my NCLEX and it took me to the CC page. I did it this time and I got the good pop up. It says " Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

I've been checking since Saturday night. I had my test at 2 pm and finished around 7. I've been checking since 8 or 9 pm on Saturday and it only changed once. Originally it said my results were on hold and then it switched to the good pop up. I know the NCLEX is checked twice but I'm scared it's going to change. I can get my fast results tomorrow but it feels like forever. If I fail then I have to turn down a job offer I had and go back to square one.

I know it's not the end of the world but I just needed to let this out. Has anyone passed with 265 and had the pop up change? When is the second grading done?

I took it also on Saturday and ended with 265. However mine has been saying "hold" since last night. I had a classmate in my class pass with 265. When you get to 265 there is still a chance is what I keep being told. So don't give up and PRAY PRAY PRAY!!!

Oh and if you got the good pop up. You probably passed!! The good pop up

Always works

What does the good pop up say?

What does the good pop up say?

"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another exam cannot be registered at this time..." or something like that. You should get this message at the top AFTER you hit "Submit Order" which is after you've inputted all the cc (preferably prepaid with less than $200) info.

Good job. Four of my friends from school recently took the exam, they all got 265, and they all passed. From what I understand, if your last question was above the line, and you got it correct, you pass. But, about 85% of things post on this website in reference to NCLEX,are rumors and not facts. It will always put a smile on my face when I hear a good posting about somebody passing NCLEX. I take mine for the third time in Florida, three weeks from now. Again, good job. Adam

I hope I passed. I'm pretty sure I passed the last question but who knows. I'm hoping my quick results are available soon. Is 48 hours from exam time or when you finish? I honestly can't remember and I'm on edge right now. Thanks for the support everyone!

Always amazes me when people post rumors, when the info is right there on the ncsbn website. The website even tells you what is on the test!

You are right about the last question. For the record here are the 3 ways to pass NCLEX:

75-264 questions:

When the computer is 95% confident you are clearly above or below the passing standard it shuts off.

Pass/fail when at 265 questions:

If the final ability is above passing: pass

If the final ability is below passing: fail

Run out of time:

Answered less than 75 questions: fail

75-264 questions: it looks at the last 60 ability estimates. If they were all above the pass line, you pass. If even 1 was below the pass line, you fail.

Ability does not equal question, per se.

I got my fast results and it says I PASSED!! I'm so excited! Does anyone know when Florida BON posts your license number? I have a job offer and I'm supposed to be licensed by 2/3.
