Took my NCLEX RN today and shut off at 205??

So I took my NCLEX RN at 8am. I got 205 questions or so and it shut off. I did the Pearson Vue trick an hour after and went all the way through and got the good pop up "our records indicate..." I am extremely stressed because I have a new job on the line as long as I pass. Has anyone passed with this number of questions??

I have seen people pass with the full number of questions :) the good pop up is a good sign, but its not totally accurate before 24 hours as I've heard.

Thanks! I'm just so stressed right now. I have a friend that passed a couple weeks ago with all of the questions. I just haven't heard of many people getting 205 or so and passing.

Of the thousands of persons who have taken and passed the NCLEX no one has ever passed with 205 questions. 206 maybe.

If you consider this a stupid answer to your question, what could anyone possibly say that wouldn't be.

And I can't even address the PVT without rolling my eyes out of my head.

Mavrick - I obviously know that there is no way to 100% tell you passed/failed by anything other than unofficial or official results. My question was that I was wondering if anyone knew if it was still possible (know from experience or someone that passed) if you could pass with about that number of questions. I've never heard of anyone receiving that number of questions- most of my friends got between 75-120 and passed or the full 265. I'm looking for words of encouragement for the next couple days not someone trolling to bring others down.

Use of the search function would have answered your question but you obviously need more than that. What kind of encouragement does an adult need to be told to wait two days for results.

You are (probably) going to be a professional nurse in a few days and a lot of responsibility will be thrown your way. Start getting used to being a calm, stable influence in the midst of other people's chaos. If you had a reasonable question, there are many people, including myself, who are quite happy to advise and suggest solutions. We are professional problem solvers.

So what are you looking for here? Some stranger to say "I got 205 questions and passed"

Good gravy.

This thread has been moved to our NCLEX Discussion forum to elicit more targeted feedback and responses. Good luck to you, and passing with 205 questions is most certainly possible.

You can take your negativity somewhere else. I have no room for that right now.

I do understand the stress and wanting to get feedback on your individual experience. I live in Canada and we don't get to take advantage of quick results. I will likely try the PVT, and lots of people do, even though it's just a trick and isn't completely accurate. Good luck, let me know if you passed! Writing mine tomorrow and I'm all nerves!

Thank you, I will let you know. Try to get a decent amount of sleep and relax. Good luck!!

Update: I PASSED!!! Checked the Ohio board of nursing website today around 4pm and my license was listed as active! I'm so relieved. So the PVT worked!
