Here is a little trick I came up with for remembering all the hyper/hypo symptoms related to Addison's and Cushing's:
Put the symptoms in alphabetical order minus the hyper/hypo:
Start with Addison's: alphabetically, hyper comes before hypo. the order is hyper, hypo, hyper, hypo (hypercalcemia, hypoglycemia, hyperkalemia, hyponatremia)
Cushing's is the opposite: hypo, hyper, hypo, hyper (hypocalcemia, hyperglycemia, hypokalemia, hypernatremia).
This has helped me on numerous practice questions so I thought I would share.
And if I may add: ADDISONS CUSHINGS CONN'S
C-alcemia Hyper Hypo
G-lycemia Hypo Hyper
K-alemia Hyper Hypo Hypo
N-atremia Hypo Hyper Hyper T-ension Hypo Hyper Hyper + Metab Alk
