Is there a way to memorize lead position in ECG?

Help y'all,

I have not had any cardiac experience, and keep getting stumped on the cardiac questions in my review for NCLEX.

My question to you is:

Is there a way to remember the positions for the 12 leads in an ECG ?

In the meantime, is there a site online I can access that give same help?

Can't think right now, but look at the telemetry forums here at allnurses. I heard that they have resources. Personally, I liked looking at the books. Also consider looking at EKG: Plain and Simple or EKG workout (forgot the authors, but I use those books to study from all the time; but they are in my locker at work).

Are new grads expected to know positions for 12 leads? I know where the 4 go for a telemetry monitor...but couldn't tell you on 12.

They would probably show you; it is not hard, and the diagram posted above me is a great demonstation.
