Questions about the Kaplan Review Course

Alot of people have done very well with the review book alone.

I did the online class and while I found it helpful, I don't think it is entirely necessary for success.

Have you taken any ATI or NLN assessment tests throughout nursing school? If so, how have you done on these? How have you done on nursing school tests? If you've done average to above average, I think you could do just fine with the Q bank and the review book.

Thank you for replying. I've done okay on the ATI exams. I was over their benchmark for the most part. I have had a hard time getting going again and I have been told my many that I should use the Kaplan review book. I have the review book on hold at Barnes & Noble (2011-2012 Edition) which i will pick up tonight.

You're welcome jbjints! If you're over the benchmark for the most part, the Kaplan book should suffice. A friend of mine just passed and the Kaplan book was her primary study tool for the NCLEX.

YOU CAN DO IT!

I have a question about a Kaplan free event. I signed up for the free strategy seminar and also saw where they are having a Nclex Practice test in Alabaster (Birmingham). My question is has anyone attended an event like this. Alabaster is probably a couple of hours from my home, but i'm willing to drive if its worth it. Please help!!??? :grn:
