Priority: Hepatic vs Renal

hi everyone,

I kinda confuse of which of two is an acute priority patient:

A. patient with hepatic cirrhosis s/s of confusion and hyperreflexia

B. Acute Renal Failure patient with urine out of 23 ml.

The question is a bad one because there isn't enough information about the second patient who could be uremic and unconscious. We're talking about ARF..

Patients with liver cirrhosis. Normaly have high ammonia and ammonia is the one causing confusion though you may think to pick that one but confusion is not acute for patient with cirrhosis . Don't pick what is normal for patient I would pick acute renal failure bacuse 23 cc of urine is not normal
