Took the exam yesterday & did the trick it gave me the good pop up!!! I had to answer all 205 questions:crying2: at one point I was exhausted & frustrated because I did know alot of the meds. I study from the Kaplan & hurst books, made charts of infection control & lab values put those on my bedroom wall. Studied for a little over a month after graduating & took a lot of tips from this forum!

congrats you passed good pop up.....im taking mine oct 14....im so stressed out i guess.....its my first step....

Good luck with your official results.

I getting ready to take the nclex next week for the second time and I must admit I am scared to death because so much is relying on this I have been reading for 5hrs a day for 3weeks now using the Sunders comprehensive green book how much percentage of the exam is needed for me to pass, I need ideas and support wish my luck please.

:ancong!: That is pretty exciting SONDON!!! Job well done.

J.pkidd - I think that you have been doing a good job at getting ready to take your NCLEX with how much time you have been spending on it. I used that Sunders book as well. That book would stress me out. Throw it away. BUT keep that disc that comes with it. I loved that thing. I would answer questions on it while being on study mode and would answer anywhere between 200 to 300 questions a day. I felt that it got me in the right mind set to take my NCLEX. I wish you the best of luck. You will nail it this time.

How long did you practice with those questions how many weeks to be exact?

How long did you practice with those questions how many weeks to be exact?

I was focusing on the questions from the Exam Cram book at first and I didn't feel like I was getting all that far with those. I spent like a week and a half on those before I decided to spend all my energy on the saunders disc. I would say at least a good week or so just practicing those questions on study mode. I felt with my mistakes I was learning from them.

Think postive thoughts. When you take your NCLEX again don't even think about the last time. This will be a clean slate. Focus on the exam at hand. Don't allow yourself to think any thoughts such as I can't. Tell yourself I am going to pass. I AM going to make this happen.

I am sending good vibes your way. You must tell me how it went after your test.

Hello

I am one week from taking my Exam ( Dec 8 ) and I am so nervous. Thanks to all of the readings on here to know that I am not the only one who was nervous. I keep telling myself to be confident and that I am going to pass. I study anywhere between 200 - 300 questions a day ( study mode ) and I hope that I am not just memorizing the answers, I hope that I am retaining because I i keep seeing the same questions over and over ... I really like the Green Saunders book as well as the Kaplan book. I hope to pass.

I took my exam earlier it was brutal. I am so anxious to see the result, but I don't not know how to do the pearson vue trick can someone please explain it to me?

I told my friend who took the exam today also to try and re-register like you initially did. If it does not take your credit card information, it will say that you passed. Let me know how it goes. How many questions did you get? Why do you say it was brutal?

I registered over the phone the first time, and my mother told me that I should wait until monday since the pop up isn't the official results and in the mean time keep praying and stay positive. I felt that the exam was not as hard as it was my first time. Some questions had me clueless. The answer choices presented was either too close to each or an intervention that I felt were in appropriate. For example " a nurse saw a post partum patient sitting in the bathroom floor, what should nurse initiate first"..(a) go get a wheel chair (b) ask her what happened © help her stand (d) go get the supervisor.... My answer was (A) because we are not suppose to leave the patient will should try to understand the reason she is sitting maybe she wasn't injured. The whole exam had me worried I answered 121 questions before it shuts off. I found it a lot easier than my first time and but not easy enough for me to be confident that I passed because a lot of the meds had me confused. I am just worried Please preay for me. :)
