Published

I need help bad. I just graduated in May and Took boards in July and failed w/265 questions. I am in the depression stage and is re-studying which sucks. I had studied everything but did not touch much on peds. I had so much questions on Peds. I took Kaplan and and used the ncsbn program and still failed. I am now studying Saunders. Any suggestions???????????

Post moved to more appropriate Forum. Good luck!

Hi Nursing28. I'm sorry you failed your exam. :o I know you will pass the next time around though. The moderator of this forum Suzanne4 has a 6 week program using Saunders. I personally never used it. I actually used Kaplan and Saunders together and I passed with 75 questions. Maybe you can PM her for more information. Alot of people have passed with her plan :) The best of luck to you!

Forgot to add this: there is a thread at the top of this forum that says "First tip of my study guide" Check it out :)

thanks, I just got my results in the mail. All of the contents that they tested me was "near passing standard" except for peds. I am using Saunders and Kaplan at the moment. Thanks your insight.

Nursing28,

Good luck as you prepare again. With the information from your last exam, you now know where to focus your studying.

hi junewebber. I didn't get those type of questions which I wish I had cuz I am pretty good w/that type of questions. But you are right, after 100 questions I was so tired. How are you studying for the exam? I just hate how the NCLEX is formated. What made it worse was, I had already started the new grad program. You should be getting a letter in the mail and it will tell you your weakness. Good luck to you. Thanks Eric for the encouragement.
