NCLEX RN stopped at 75. Good Pop Up then... Results on Hold...

I absolutely LOVE this site. Everyone is so encouraging when others feel down and out, so I wanted to potentially help ease the anxiety of another person facing a similar situation as my own.

I FINALLY received my eligibility to test from CA BRN on Thurs, Aug 4th. I applied April 24th, so PLEASE submit your application at least 6 months in advance if you are from California and hope to secure your test date in a timely manner. I received my ATT from Pearson Vue around 2148 Fri, August 5th. I scheduled my NCLEX RN for Mon Aug 8th. The SAME DAY OF MY EXAM I realized that my drivers license and bank card were missing! It was too late to reschedule, and all I had was my passport (different last name) and marriage certificate. Luckily, I was able to test! After the computer shut off at 75 I was so bummed because I felt like I was guessing a good portion of the time, especially on the 30+ SATAs that I received. I know for a fact that I got a few "easy" SATAs wrong. I only felt confident about 10 questions, and cried the entire ride home because I didn't think that I proved that I was competent. I immediately did the PVT and got the "good pop up." I did it again 2 hours later and it said "test results on hold." I remember the receptionist saying that she would need to send in a copy of my passport/marriage certificate, so I figured it was because of that. I then went to the CA BRN site and noticed that there was an option 12 - reapply/reexamination. I started freaking out because I read on here that if you see that option, you failed. LIES. I called Pearson, and they said that it would take at least 48 hours to remove my hold. At 1700 Aug 9th, I tried to do the pop-up to see if the hold was lifted, and it was! I got the "good pop up!" I figured it would take anywhere from a week to six weeks for me to hear from CA BRN because they are VERY slow and we don't have access to Quick Results. I woke up at 0200 this morning Aug 10th and my name and Registered Nurse License was on the Breeze site! Even if you feel like you bombed the exam, don't lose hope!

Congrats!!!!!!! And thanks for the advice!

I took mine 8/4...also got the good pop up and waited a week to do it. Still no license posted on the BRN site! í ½í¸
